by Cajed1 on Oct. 1, 2019
No shack rentals on Cold Lake... Nearest would be Lac la Biche or Lesser Slave.

by Nawtpro on May. 15, 2019
No. You can keep 3 as long as there over the minimum length. You can clearly read this in the regulations.

Hey everyone
by Fishizzle44 on Feb. 17, 2019
Got my Mitsubishi Lancer out but my cousin got stuck in his Ford Escape, the difference of good and bad tires
by Tootall83 on Feb. 16, 2019
The snow isn't too deep. Depends where lol so I saw a awd car at French bay. Good tracks there. Provincial is ok going to trout spots. But that's all iwould trust. Marina should have good beaten down track by now. I went from French bay to provincial in my 1/2 ton with duratrack tires and there are ice shards so you wouldn't wanna venture there
by Fishizzle44 on Feb. 15, 2019
Does anyone know what the lake access is like, I’m wondering if an awd car with good tires would be capable
by redneckfishnalbertan on Feb. 15, 2019
Hi total 83 I'm heading out there again I'd sure appreciate a map if you dont mind. jerrodc1967@gmail.com thanks

by doylejhansen on Feb. 14, 2019
attention: Tootall83 ... I have read thousands of fishing sites over the years and very, very rarely someone like you steps out and helps out a couple fisherman with real fishing information ... everyone wants to keep everything so secretive .... good things happen to good people ... have a wonderful long weekend ... doyle
by Tootall83 on Feb. 13, 2019
Ok lets start with email. Mine is Chevyhunter350@hotmail.com Then can get each others names for messenger and i can send ya a map of what's what and where to go

by justintime36294 on Feb. 13, 2019
Total 83 ... So the provincial park you speak of would be the best way to access the lake to? Is there a way on here to DM you on here. I have a a question about which bays are which . And I could probably ask a few more questions cause you seem to be in the game of actually being helpful to people who don't really know the lake . TIA !
by Tootall83 on Feb. 12, 2019
No problem. I check this often so got any more questions or need help let me know

by justintime36294 on Feb. 12, 2019
Totall83 that's awesome I really really appreciate that info . Saves gas and a trip for nothing . I'm stoked to explore the area and thanks for the hazards lol I never leave home without my shovel. I'll post an update on how we do on our first trip to Cold lake
by redneckfishnalbertan on Feb. 12, 2019
No heaves that I seen theres about 22 inches of ice . Thanks totally for your update I'm heading back there in a week. Seen alot of big pike hope to hook up on one I can mount . As for lake trout ya got a good spot . Much appreciated
by Tootall83 on Feb. 11, 2019
Justintime if u want guaranteed fish, pike anyways, provincial park is where u wanna be. So thats the boat launch which if you were coming on highway 55 from the west and go through the lights past the Tim hortons/pizza 73, and keep driving until you hit the lake. Anywhere in that bay in 2 to 10 feet of water you will find them. Only place to be careful is the sandbar, if you google map it and satellite image you will see where it is between th bays. As far as heaves I sledded the whole west side on Friday and saw none. I got an average of 2 ft of ice in the bays. You will be fine with your explorer on the tracks. Bring s shovel if needed..not alot of snow on the lake. Couple feet thr odd big drift. I saw cars on at French bay as well. Thag probbaly has the best beaten paths
by BeerBabesBurbot on Feb. 11, 2019
How much ice there redneckshin? Much for heaves on the lake right now?

by justintime36294 on Feb. 11, 2019
Hi all, looking to head up to cold Lake for the first time. The wife wants to do this for our Valentine's trip. I'm not looking for honey holes or anything. I'm just looking for what I should be prepared for. I have a few questions like can I bring my Ford escape and be ok staying on the main tracks? We will be staying in cold Lake Town . So if anyone has any pointers or advice please feel free to guide me in the right direction. I'm lookin for any and all species . I just want to experience a half decent fishery not to far from Edmonton. Tia !
by redneckfishnalbertan on Feb. 10, 2019
Was out yesterday 400 yards in front of marina. Drove on in half ton truck. Managed to catch 2 Lakers both an inch to short. Great day though lots on camera
by Tootall83 on Feb. 8, 2019
I took the skidoo from marina to French bay and back. Only sketchy spot was out from provincial park first point where the trout fishers are, actually a little more out by the hump. There was a crack and flood water

by Mike1986AB on Feb. 8, 2019
Has anyone driven a half ton (or bigger) out to Garnet Point or out from the Marina yet on Cold Lake? French Bay was around 18" where I was two weeks ago but didn't notice anyone driving out near the point. Thank you.
