Wooo!!! I love this lake. My buddy and I went out to my honey hole again this year and nailed monster gator after gator. This lake has a huge and healthy fish population. It's been reported to be over populated. And since its so remote to access the southern part of this massive lake their is no need for restrictions. Spawned out or not I'm enjoying C&R of these massive monsters woooo!

I think that these late should be shut down from March 31 until mid-May or possibly the end of May to let the fish spawn out without any disturbance!!

On Feb 12 I Caught a 28.5lb pike. It was by far my biggest ever. Between three of us in 3 hrs their was a 26.5 pounder 25 pounder and two 24 pounders. and probably 5 more over 20lbs. It's was absolutely outstanding fishing. I will return to this special spot for the rest of my life! As I spoke with local Mikisew Cree natives that fish for food not sport I found that almost year after year the 38 pound alberta pike record has been smashed from this special spot time after time. A special thanks to Judy for taking me to what I be leave to be the best trophy pike area in Canada!!!
