Big granite cliffs. 30-60' right off the rock face. Pike sit right against it waiting to ambush.View on Map
Nice Sandy beach in a shallow bay. Perfect for a hot afternoon bath.View on Map

Troll the cabbage weeds in 8-12' with bright Silver spoons. Ripping the lure between the tall cabbage. They come right out like torpedos.View on Map
Just got back today. Awesome trip. Lots of good eater size Walleye nothing big. But the Pike were on fire. Biggest was 20.4 lbs. caught in the cabbage weeds in 11' in the North bay. Silver spoons were the ticket. Bright silver Blue Fox and Williams Wobblers. A true fishermans paradise. Nothing up there to bother you. Pure solitude. Awesome Lake.

Flew in July 10-14 trip was awesome! I think the hot weather was keeping the fishing down a bit as we have had far better weeks fishing up there, but we caught enough to keep us interested. The sow and cub black bears sharing the island with us was a little hair raising, but the whole experience of this fly in trip is great for the soul!
