I was out yesterday with the underwater camera. Didnt see any perch over 4-6" long, and only a few really tiny little pike. Pike werent interested in eating anything, and the little perch were extremely picky.

Almost straight across from the RV resort. It's a deep lake. I hear it goes down to 90ft.

Where did you hit the 30 ft at on the lake?

I just parked my truck on the side of the road.

Where do you park here?

I give it a 3 star. It's my my own fault I didn't catch anything. Forgot my bait back at the cabin. Sonar said there was tons of fish going by but I didn't snag any. Even tried a piece of ham from my sandwich. Nothing, lol. Was fishing at 30ft. There are a few walk in entry points on this lake, just nowhere to really park.

Has anyone fished this lake this summer ?

The bed and shore of a lake within the high water mark is public regardless of the status of surrounding lands(except lakes on First Nation reserves). Even if you own all lands around a lake, you still do not own the lake and are required by law to allow minimum walk-in access

This is one of the many examples of people controlling an Alberta like, just like Spring Lake, no public access???

Shitty lake, no proper access to it anywhere. No boat launch nothing. Epic fail!!!

Best place on the lake. Fish the drop offs of the weed beds in about 12 feet water. Thousands of perch and many pike, biggest pike 72 cm.

Trolled last summer along this side of the lake, landed about 10 pike. Caught 1 everytime I went out. Fishing depths of 8-15 feet of water.

I understand that this lake has sewer lines that run into it from surrounding homes and cabins and not into septic tanks. Anyone have info on the water quality or have eaten the fish?

Has anyone been catching perch lately?

For perch I like to use a pickerel rig with maggots or bacon fat.

As for perch theres a nice weed shelf on the south side of the lake, in the center of the middle bay, they will go crazy for ice fishing lures. Or you can just watch them from the boat. Good pike there too.

Pretty good spot. Except not a public lake. I cought 4 pike from shore using a power bait jig on a bobber. Was actually trying to catch perch. If any one has tips for perch at hubbles please post.

I live on the lake, fishing every evening I can in the summer, 7lb pike and some tasty perch. No gas boat motors. Beautiful lake.
