We live at the Gainford end... we caught a bunch of perch here in the fall...of course we released them all. This winter friends caught a 13lb pike in front of our place. Lots of smaller ones being caught this winter.Wish they hadn’t taken all our pickerel to Wabamun.😡

Ice 10” thick in a few different holes now. I wouldn’t drive a car on it yet. My hubby caught a pike this morning 281/4” long at about 12 feet deep. Looking to be another great ice fishing season again. 62904967845__041753DF-002D-452A-AE47-8716F4F8516F.jpeg

Great ice fishing at Isle Lake. Ice is about 22” deep. We’ve been out here a week and have caught many keeper sizes. Fishing at about 16 feet deep. They love anything that resembles a perch.

How clean has the lake been lately? I know it's been prone to blue green algae in the past.

Fished from the shore at the boat launch at Kokomoko last month. The grand boy caught a 20" pike, his first fish. That was worth more to me than catching 10 myself. Now all he talks about is how dumb a jack fish is for biting his 5 of diamonds and how nothing bit on my line.

by Furiousd on Feb. 26, 2016
Stew-kuzz - where were you fishing?

by Droc01 on Feb. 4, 2016
West end of the lake was always good in front of the church camp I think it is. There was a beaver house and the inlet to the lake near by. Fish around the 14-10' range. Always caught good pike there. Or by islands for Wally and perch. If survived
