Fished off the provincial park drop off in October. Boated over 100 walleye in 6 hours. Today, dec 17, didn't see any walleye in 6 hours at all depths. Tried 20 or so different holes and locations. All depths. Saw zip!

6 to 11 inches off the provincial park. Drove on with an atv. No trucks yet. Massive ice heave at the boat launch. No snow on the ice at all. Really slippery. Wear ice cleats.

11 inches on the south side, 3 hours around sundown, got skunked but hard to blame the lake (stayed in place with kids)

Does anyone knew if the lake is frozen already?

I fish the lake 1 week ago with friends. With 3 in the boat, we caught 40 Walleye. We had a great time. Days are numbered so get out one more time and enjoy the great fishing. "What's going on with no new feedback reports?" Are people not using this app any longer?

Very good fishing, not to many class C walleye but lots of class B, and A

Fished with 3 generations on the boat this Father's Day and made lots of new memories. Between 7 of us, 5 had tags for class B. For our first trip out this year we filled 4 tags caught a total of around 15 and in that a couple small Pike in 3 hours of fishing. Not to shabby..... Fished the Mulhurst area. The provincial side was infested with May flies were insane. I've never seen such a bad infestation of anything. We were literally eating them. They were in your mouth, eyes and ears. We turned right back around and finished the evening at mulhurst. Where there didn't seem to be any. Hope to see them eaten up by the fish and at least serve a purpose.

The docks are in, and the wash rooms are open.

by Bert&Ken on May. 31, 2020
Does anyone know if the Provincial Park has their docks in the water at the boat launch sites?

by Ebbsforestry on May. 29, 2020
We fished with the kids and grandkids last weekend may21/22. Up and down the shore east of Mulhurst. Fishing was moderate but most people were catching. We caught about 15 or 18 walleye and a couple of Pike. Great place to take kids in the spring time in June because they can actually catch a fish. Had a great time

For all those that fished pigeon opening day how was it for walleye? I am anxious to get up there and get back on the lake. I live in Cochrane now but lived in Drayton Valley for 30 years and fish pigeon a 100 times. Let me know guys

by BigFish838383 on May. 4, 2020
The ice is completely off of Pigeon lake now.

by DaveCunningham on May. 4, 2020
Dear I B Fishing, Thank you for sharing such wisdom. It has been nothing but helpful, particularly coming from an ice scientist. I would have never known the ice would begin thawing in May.

by I B Fishin on May. 3, 2020
I'll take a wild guess and say..... Sometime in May

by DaveCunningham on Apr. 26, 2020
when do you guys think all the ice will be gone and i can take the boat out??

by I B Fishin on Apr. 12, 2020

by FDCHEFF on Apr. 11, 2020

by BigFish838383 on Apr. 8, 2020
Lake is still solid 30 inches of ice everywhere. You will be definitely fine with a side by side until the weather gets warmer.

by LowellG on Apr. 8, 2020

Hi Big FishWish, I’ve only been out a few times this winter, last time couple weeks ago and it has been pretty slow, I normally find the evening bite to be the best...the last hour or so before dark. I usually go over in the Silver Beach area, east of Mulhurst bay out off the point, maybe give there a try. Also lots of people fish out from the provincial park along the drop off.
