Last few times out the walleye action has been great. Jigging in 10-15 feet of water with bait (minnows) works the best for me. I use 1/3 of a minnow only as they just pick it off your hook otherwise. Casting or trolling not worth it.

Walleye have been very slow so far this spring in all my traditional spots. Not seeing many on the camera either. Need to find some new spots to try.

Been out several times this year. I got skunked today but my little guy got one. From my perspective it seems worse than last year. Guess I need to reevaluate where I go in the lake and try to find new spots.

Was out on Monday, caught one walleye in three hours of fishing, saw a few more on the camera. I didn't measure, but the ice thickness was around 1.5 feet, maybe a bit more.

Husband and I were out on a little boat last weekend. Caught some huge walleye 12-16 inches and one small pike! Jigging just above the weeds!

by HappyOursCaptain on Jul. 6, 2020

Walleye all day long. Find the slope from 5 feet down to 10-12 feet. Anchor at the bottom and just jig off the bottom with half minnows.

I caught 13 walleye in about an hour and a half just casting from a pier at Seba Beach.

by Captain Jack on Jun. 24, 2020

Out today. Caught some small fish. Felt bad hurting these tiny fish. By transplanting thousands of walleye from Lac Ste Anne has really changed things & Not for the best! Wab was( 5 yrs ago like a trophy pike lake) Now LOTS of small pike and small walleye. No big fiesty pike. Hmmm not sure who decided to mess with a great local pike lake.

by GreasyPike89 on Jun. 13, 2020

Anyone catching gators at Wab?

Star Star Star Star Star

by wiseslider76 on Jun. 4, 2020

walleye were on fire on Tuesday evening, hitting minnows as fast as you could drop them in the water.

Caught several small, but healthy pike. It was a healthy ratio of roughly 50/50 for pike/walleye. 70 fish in day. Pretty decent.
