3 years ago we were catching lots of rainbows in the 18 21 inch range.Last year I caught 1 20
Will be interesting to see how they faired with such a short and mild winter.
Looking forward to 2016

Spent a half day yesterday on the lake wade fly fishing. Was able to catch 2 in the 16 inch plus range. Not long but very chunky. Green and black leech worked the best. Even saw some action on dry flies periodically. Good day.

by iFish Guest on Aug. 28, 2013
Good fishing on wet fly. The fish are getting fatter. Oh yeah. No bait used as there is a bait ban on this lake. Lures only.....can only keep 20 inches or larger. Just a reminder.

Fish deep and slow - scudsView on Map
by iFish Guest on Apr. 26, 2013
caught about a dozen ranging in size from 14 to 20 inches. This lake should only be stocked every second year ,then the size of fish would go up making it a true trophy lake, too many fish for the amount of food only slows their growth.
by Mytyee on Sep. 25, 2012
Fished the lake on Sat. Had great success using beaded back swimmer, lost count of how many we released. Biggest was around 19 inches and quite a few in the 18" range
by Johnny Ray on Aug. 21, 2012
Fish last long weekend.Got an early start and fishing was fair to food on scud -leaches and sparkle hairs ear.All Flies we in the size 14 to 18 fished on a dry in the am and a slow clear intermediate (slime line) in the early to mid afternoon.
Largest was 2.5lbs with a few more in the 12 to 17 inch range.
Good lake but heats up fast in the summer months so play ur fish quick and spend the time to revive them so they are ready to go when you release them.
Met some great people and exchange a few stories and a laugh or two.
Wil be back in the fall for the boatman and back swimmers.

Showed up today and most of the lake is frozen, if you walk to the bridge going to the island, there is open water to the left of the bridge, between five of us with belly boats we caught over a dozen within 4 hrs, 18-22 inches, very healthy and fat, great colors. a bit windy but still a great day.
by Rovers 88 on Sep. 17, 2011
5 12" trout in 3 hours. Lots of fun but a lot more wind.
by Chris on Aug. 20, 2011

Went on July 2 fishing was good in evening - hope regs stay the same
by Pudelpointer on May. 16, 2011
Fished on May 15th. Fair number of fish taken on small Prince Nymphs and GRHs. Hard SE wind made casting from shore tough but the fish were not far out. Fish ranged from 14" to 18" with a couple larger broken off.
