Anyone been out the last few days? Wondering how the ice condition is? Would like to come down this weekend but don't want to drive 3 hours for bad ice you can't go on. Warmer temps have made stuff melt really good here. Thanks

by Adam9999 on Feb. 4, 2017

Ice is over 24" in the narrows. Not a single bite.

Great evening on rattlesnake last night. I went past the dam near the islands that have lots of birds on them. I caught 9 pike all but 1 were over 5 pounds. All of them I caught with a len thompson five of diamonds spoon.

Ice about 8 inches thick, but very soft. By the afternoon ice was sinking as we walked. Got the hell off at that point. Nothing biting for us or other guys there. Not a great ice fishing lake for sure.
