Anybody fishing elsewhere on the lake other than the mouth of the Lobstick river. I remember years ago when we used to fish on the north side of the lake or down the lake from Chip lake park to the left at that big hill or at the small island out in the middle north of the big island

by Fishing2016 on Dec. 30, 2018

How’s the ice thickness? How’s the road by the camp sites, can I get through there with a car? Going to use a sled to pull my gears by the campsite.

Caught a 70cm and brought 4 more up through the ice. Had 7 bites in total in about 3.5 hours. Had three kids with me though so I had quite a few tip ups going. But all in all not too bad of a day

The road from the west was rough with deep ruts. I wouldn’t try it with a car. About 15 inches of ice. Fishing was slow. We only caught a couple of jacks and no burbot.

by DEWEY01 on Jun. 5, 2018

Anyone been out here lately??

by Cole010 on Mar. 30, 2018

RG Rd 110 is brutal haha no way even a truck can get thru and that's the only way for vehicle access. Looks like we are parking and walking

Star Star Star Star Star

by BigSexyBurbs on Mar. 28, 2018

@Cole010 there was still ~ 34 inches on Sunday. I don't know about other acess spots but if you are going off rg rd 110 make sure you are driving something with ground clearance, the road is some serious mud ruts with logs and other crap to drive over as well

by Cole010 on Mar. 26, 2018

I think me and my brother will hit this lake up on the last 2 days. Anyone know the ice thickness or a good place to get on?

Star Star Star Star Star

by BigSexyBurbs on Mar. 25, 2018

Thick mud ruts at rg rd 110 to get to the lake, you won't make it with a car. Bonus is only 5 or so trucks at chip city!
