Ice thickness? And did this lake winterkill?

Fished yesterday 4 inches of ice , not a perch in 5 hours .... hope it didn't winterkill last spring

Is this lake accessible in summer?

The snow is very hard packed

Road is a mess into lake , lots of flood water , and 2 layers of ice .... Fishing was slow

Frabill where bouts on the lake where ya ? And yes I was out there a month ago . They were pulling water ( aka stealing ) from the lake.

Dont waste you time (and effort!) on this lake. Like MANY others, the patch has helped kill it off.

Had a really great day of fishing here! Caught our limit in pike, and one perch. Only complaint is there's a lot of floodwater and not a whole lot of room to stage your vehicles because of an oilfield pump set up right smack in the middle of the only road access into the lake. Great time though, I am sure we will be back.

Perch fishing is good caught one nice 5lb pike really chunky!
