In the meantime - fishing very slow the past week after some excellent times. Joussard has almost 100 huts on the ice http://southpeacenews.com/pics-joussards-ice-shack-village/ Usually there is a trail out to the hut area that is travelled every day. No problem for trucks and anybody pulling a hut on wheels. Usually !!

Has anyone fished the narrows at kinuso? Wondering if I can still get a pick up out on the ice to the shacks? Haven't been there in a month, have any heaves formed?

Star Star Star Star Star

by u8sushi on Jan. 25, 2018

Canyon Creek is clear to cross the ice heaves, just follow the tire tracks to the left.

Star Star Star Star Star

Where can one get access to the lake exactly?

Star Star Star Star Star

by Kevwood on Jan. 10, 2018

Crack at the shore is not a crack it is an ice heave that ranges from1-2' and up to 6 or 8' high in places...crossable with quad or snowmobile only when I was there on Jan 4th...once past the heave there were no more to deal with...ice is from 20-24%u201D...bite was slow on the 4th(two walleye and 4 burbot between 3 anglers from 10am-6pm) this was at Widewater.

Star Star Star Star Star

by Ben1234 on Jan. 7, 2018
