The walk is aboot 100 yards to get to water. Pretty much only way in. If you are hauling a boat could be tuff through trees. Road walk 500yards to water approx
thanks champ.how far of a walk to the lake? is that the only way in?
The ice is gone. It would be safe. Only issue is gates are still locked. Walk in only.

Is this lake available for off the shore fishing right now or is it still frozen over?
by pikeguy420 on Apr. 3, 2016
I fish as soon as the ice clears. Fish taste great. Caught a few 16"ers last spring and summer.
by bonzie29 on Apr. 3, 2016
What is the earliest one would recommend fishing here?(not ice fishing) Or just most trout lakes, when are the fish big enough to eat?

Caught the average amount I'm used too. We walked in- not plowed. Tough access but was rewarded with a good one,all I can say: compared to the locals largest fish, I win. ;)

Been Camping Here Since Thursday. That Evening Caught a 14.5 in/ 1.5 pound Trout and that was it. Only Caught a Few on Friday and that was Trolling in the Boat. On Saturday caught a Few from the Boat Launch. It's Pretty Slow with the Rain & Cloudy with Winds. Once it Clears Up & the Winds Stop it will be a Trout Feast! lol Good Luck to My Fellow Fishing People's!!! Always Have a Good Time Here Rain or Shine :D

Went there last week with my friend on a sunny afternoon, our first time fishing this year. You can see fish jumping out of water constantly. Had a very successful afternoon with 10 trouts and 13 perchs among the two of us. The size of the trouts are roughly 8 inches or so. Birds were diving in and out all the time and they just snatched fish out like they are free. Lloyd was quiet a nice guy to talk to too when we reported out catch. Rainbow power!!! I recommend this pond.
by DK on Jun. 3, 2011
Full lack of fish! Went there yesterday, we got 3 small rainbows in 6 hours! Not biting at all! Don't go there!
by Wayneezy on May. 21, 2011
We frequent this lake. Lots of trout but have never seen a perch come out of there. Great quiet place and nice spot to camp as well.
