Some small rainbows here. The man working at the front gate trying to charge people $5 to fish. I don't know if he is allowed to do this? can someone confirm or should we be reporting him.

Stocked with 8000 trout this last week. Not open until June 1st but went in today to take a peak and the fish are jumping. Can't wait until it's open!

Went out last Saturday. Gates still weren't open but very short walk in. A bunch if nibbles but only pulled out one trout and one sucked from the deep water.

The walk is aboot 100 yards to get to water. Pretty much only way in. If you are hauling a boat could be tuff through trees. Road walk 500yards to water approx

The ice is gone. It would be safe. Only issue is gates are still locked. Walk in only.

I fish as soon as the ice clears. Fish taste great. Caught a few 16"ers last spring and summer.

Fished this place a lot in summer. Caught some decent rainbow. 15-16". I heard there is bigger so headed out in the next few days. I'll post results and ice conditions.

This was my first time here ..my kids and i had a great time.had a few hits but dude next to us was on fire..he landed 7 rainbows and 1 sucker..i didnt even know sucker fish were in ashland..lol..all in all this is a good place..i will be hitting this place this coming ice fishing for sure.

Beauty day on the water! Fishing from shore, my girlfriend caught a 14.5" Rainbow! I just got teased by all the jumping. Will definitely be back!

Caught one 12" rainbow and 6-8" ones. All from shore. Worms were working today but they were biting at spinners just couldn't land those ones. First time today but will be back. Anyone ever catch any jack out if here

@tqvn85 The few times I went there I did see that $5 sign but didnt see anyone at the gate, so I just drive right in. The person in charge checked up on me while I was fishing once before, he didnt seem to mind that i was cooking up a fish there that i caught so he left me alone after a small talk
