Fished this past Saturday afternoon/evening and Sunday morning. Nw corner of the lake, near the frozen creek. Morning fish was way better, caught on shrimp and power bait. Great weekend.

Was here Jan 14. Saw rainbows and huge suckers on camera. No bites. Water even at 27ft is only 35 Fahrenheit. So fish are extremely slow. Suggest waiting til things warm up enough for the fish to be more active.

Fished without bait, used small white rubber tail jigs. Was using camera so I could keep the hook away from the multitude of suckers. What worked was raing the jig to about a foot under the ice and let it free fall to the bottom. That got their attention

Was at beauvais today. Very good for 12 inch size trout. Both son and I had underwater cameras which helped as trout hit very light. Used corn and small jigs fished in 15-19 feet deep. Watch for sudden wind gust if you use a tent
