Very busy spot at the weekends, and lots of people trying to fish from the shore, most had no idea what they are doing. Decent shore fishing spots are hard to find as trees are very thick. Caught two small rainbow from the shore using a worm. Tried fly fishing but no luck.
by dmacamania on Jun. 8, 2014
nothing today started jumping around 6pm left at 7 no fly rod next time trout
by TightLine101 on Jun. 3, 2014
Went last night for a couple hrs with a buddy. Caught a couple rainbows.
Too bad nobody likes to practice C&R. There was a large family there and I'm pretty sure they kept every fish they caught.
by Driveby Fisher on May. 30, 2014
Recently stocked with very small rainbows and Brookies, use small spinners and spoons, green seems to work best from shore and small green leech patterns are the way to go if fishing from belly tube or pontoon boat. Very busy lake, lots of families and kids. The ospreys and loons seem to be eating a lot of the fish. Saw the fish hawks catch about half a dozen fish the hour and a half I was there. The loons come right up within 10 feet of you, don't seem afraid of people at all!

Was out between 12-2. Not a single bite. Seen a dozen 2-3 inch minnows below the surface. Lots of feed but nothing to take away. Not a great lake to fish.

What happend with Sibbald Lake? No bites at all in last 2-3 weeks.
by iFish Guest on Jun. 5, 2013
this is great little lake, fly fishing is awsome if you have a belly boat or another way to fish the middle, i caught a couple nice ones i had for lunch. people are able to catch from shore but its fairly sparatic, as oppose to in the middle, you can get a hit most casts.
by Aryksmat on May. 24, 2013
Fish jumping in middle of the lake just past casting distance... If you have a boat it would be good.. Shore fishing is tough going
by FishingKing2013 on Jan. 7, 2013
i was out yesterday (Jan 6th 2013) in the blue clam tent (only one on the ice in a tent) and talked to the F&W dude and said there is a lot of fish in the lake because the weeds grew in so fast in the summer that no one really caught much so there was still plenty in the lake. so idk where they are no dead fish floating sooo they are not dead
by Scorpi76 on Jan. 6, 2013
