This lake is a great fishing lake, my wife and I filled our tags over a great weekend of camping at the small but well kept campground - The best fishing is done just off the campground dock ; no boat needed at this lake

Six medium walleye, nice releases. 4 perch for supper. Accessed from North shore.. Long up/down path down to the lake with toboggan gate is closed to vehicles 12 ft water 100 yards out. Water is so clear
by Mikey1781 on Dec. 30, 2016
Caught a bunch of walleye but no perch. Obviously the walleye are catch and release which i think is crap. The gov needs to open this lake up already cause nothing else can survive in this lake.

8 hours - 60 plus walleye - all released. Biggest one over 5 pounds. Rest all between 12 and 18 inches. Caught in 25 to 14 feet just off boat launch at municipal campground

Took the boys there last night and caught 46 walleye ranging in size from less than 0.5 lbs to one about 4 lbs. Most in the 1-1.5lbs range. Perfect for the kids. Casting jigs off the pier at the north side rec area, even jigging off the end of the pier. 7:30 - 9:30pm.

Water is beautiful. Nice and clean. No algae. Came out for a couple hours and caught 15 or so walleye using a spoon. Tossed them all back to catch another time :)

Will be staying at Lac Sante with the family for a week in mid-July and looking for a nearby lake to do some boat fishing. Perch, pike, walleye. Thought Lac Bellevue might be a good option. Any feedback?

I've fished the lake for almost fifty years as my grandfather was a local pioneer. The pike and perch fishing used to be phenomenal until the water table began to lower throughout the entire region. Rumour has it that a hatchery truck containing breeding walleye was diverted to Lac Bellevue in the early 70's.

I don't recommend driving on the ice, If you do so you do it at your own Risk.
by Jangler on Dec. 2, 2019
