Getting fished out! Too many people abusing this little pond! Was fun at the end of April, but now you are lucky to catch one every 4 hours

Crossfield is a little slow right now just because people have fished out a lot of the rainbows, Went fishing today there and caught only 1 in about 2 and half hours and was slow for everyone else except for a family that caught 6. but is very fun

Any recent action here? Thinking of heading there with my kids tomorrow... Any bait lure suggestions would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I was out there today with my kids for 4 hours and my daughter caught the only fish about 11 inch.
There was many other fishermen and no one caught anything!

I think it's safe to say these holes are darn near fished out.
Been multiple times lately and barely anything jumping compared to a month ago.
What can you expect from a stocked pond with 5 fish limits I guess.

Fun, wife and I caught tonnes on the fly. Wack, grown men keeping 5, sometimes more, of these tiny 8 inch trout you wouldn't even be able to get a proper filet out of. Don't expect there to be any fish left in here in 1 month.

Fun little pond. Great for kids to learn on. Smaller fish as it was just stocked 2 weeks ago.

Does anybody have a Topo map or know where I could get one for the pond.

There is heavy road construction all around the pond. It is accessible by taking the gravel roads past collicut golf but by the looks of it the pond is closed. So far it hasn't been stocked this year.

Was there 2 hours, no bites. Tryed spinners, Gulp Trout treats on bobber, plastic worms- surface and bottom weighted, even tryed spoons. Nothing- no one else had a bite. VERY weedy at the bank. If theres more than 6 cars, no where to park except on the main gravel road. Bring a chair, or you'll be sitting on the grass. Save ur time, go somewhere else like Grotto Mountain Pond

Was there for 2 hours today through the afternoon. No bites. Didn't see anyone else take any. Tried the kraft velvita cheese, power bait trout bait/nuggets/corn and dry flys with a bobber

Fishing well with nymphs and indicator. Lots of pressure on this pond. Good spot for kids and elderly as it's great access.

I was there last week caught about 10 nice rainbows put them all back so little kids can catch them. The fish were taking almost every hook I put in. It was a blast great place to catch

Just stocked with rainbow trout last week. There's a large flat grass section directly down the middle where you can set up a chair and fish either side of this man made pond. About 10-12" rainbows is as large as I've seen but they bite often. Fun little place to fish.
