by JennaB on Jun. 13, 2016
What a cute little lake. Had 30 nibbles and bites, caught 3, just small guys. Other people I was with caught one each. My first time here, what a beautiful little place. That road coming down in though was terrible. My poor car.

Can anyone suggest a bait to use on this lake? (Ice fishing)
by Lakechaser on Sep. 26, 2015
I'm sure any brother fisherman who frequents this lake will share my condolences to Bob Leblaw who's house overlooking the lake burnt to the ground. The house and all of its contents were completely destroyed by the fire. Fortunately everyone got out safely.

by Jayjayjay on Jul. 16, 2014
Anybody catching anything here?
by chongo on Jun. 29, 2014
Fun hooking into the litte rainbows. We gave up counting, they were 8" at best on choronomids at 6ft. All released so they get bigger and we can catch them again at twice the size.
by Jayjayjay on Jun. 25, 2014
Hey. What do people use for bait here?
by JamesF on Jun. 23, 2014
June 23 caught 15+ small rainbows 6-8" on damselfly nymph. All released to get bigger. Apparently stocked in early June. Didn't see anyone else catch anything of any size.
by Bob Leblaw on Jun. 16, 2014

by iFish Guest on Jul. 21, 2013
Fly fished from the north shore (muskeg) last night from 8-1030. Caught 5 rainbows, 3 got away plus several bites. 3 were about 8", one 10" and one 11". They were feeding all over, looked like the larger trout were jumping on the north side of the lake.
by iFish Guest on Jul. 18, 2013
I fished there a while ago. Got there at about 4 and must have caught 40 lil 8-10in rainbows and two 15 or so inchers by 10. Went for about an hour without casting and not getting a bite or a fish. I just grabbed a fly out of my tackle box, not sure what the name is. The fish were small but had lots of action! Overall a very good day!
by iFish Guest on Jul. 4, 2013

Was there couple days ago, caught 3 bows about 15in.
Using wooly bugger.the shore fishermen were doing better with the live bait.
by Grassrootsinab on Sep. 3, 2012
Back to the lake today. Caught 3 little guys, one on a black bugger and 2 on a tiny silver/green chironomid. Not many rising. Had better luck a couple of weeks ago when landed a couple of 14 inches. Again, black/ dark leech patterns seem to work.

Water was super clear even after ton of rain lots of fish jumping caught 4 all about 8 10 in they would only bite flies nothing els fished for 4 hours late afternoo
by Visitor on Jun. 28, 2012
Local streams were very muddy and fast so we came here. Their we're a constant rise of little guys trying to hit dragon flys as they went buy 6-8 inches. Muskeg shore edged but not bad when you make it to the water. Just need to watch your footing as there are some holes. Road going in is at your own risk as posted but it's ok just a few large puddles, not deep or ruts good gravel base. Didn't take on minnows apparently only flies we're working today. Seen large 1/4 to 1/2 inch shrimp in the muskeg. Would like to see others post as there are lots of people on the back roads.

Just got back from a morning jaunt. Many rises of little guys. Quite a few caught but others....I'm out of practice on the hook set! They seemed to be keying on leech patterns and tiny chironos. Fun day til a lightning strike scared me off the tube!
by gerbs on Jun. 23, 2012
Perfect lake for fly fishing beginners. Lots of small trout that are easy to take. Also is and amazing lake just using a bobber and worm.
by Gz1423 on Jun. 16, 2012
What flies should I use in June for this lake?
by Shoot to kill on Jun. 4, 2012
Fly fished today for about 3 hours,I think they may have just stocked the lake, there were a lot of fish 5 to 8 in. But I had a lot of fun the fish were rising the whole time I was there, made it real hard to leave but it was a great day

Maybe at the end of summer these rainbows might get big enough to make a solid day of fishing
by MedicFly on Jun. 14, 2011
Great day fishing. Caught a number of smaller fish (6-8 inch) and the fish were rising all day. Definitely worth going back to see if the bigger ones could be caught
by Kev on Jun. 4, 2011
Must of just stocked it all I seen and caught were little like 4-5". But there were allot of them and they were hitting so it was a good day
Was there last week allot of fish jumping but all small must of just stocked it a couple weeks ago.
by Brad on May. 17, 2011
Still frozen! When do they stock it?
by BouncingBunny on Jan. 22, 2011
This is a great location for beginners and experienced anglers alike. There is enough space around the shoreline for fly fishing, a great launch space for boats and pontoon boats, plus there are fish. This stocked lake is very popular so you do have to put up with other people just out for a good time. PLEASE take your garbage out when you leave.
