Lots of fish in camera. Found the prefer shrimp on small shiny spoons or small jigs. Found fish in about 8 feet of water by the weed edge

Lake is difficult to shore fish. Been there twice in the last couple weeks in float tube fly fishing. Seems they must of stocked the lake recently as all I am catching is little stockers nothing of decent size.

Caught big ones this summer!! Brookies have a short life span 4-6 years max I agree with leaving fish in the lake butat the same time those big fish die and are wasted. The little panfry size should be thrown back to grow. with a species like this it is responsible harvesting and stocking. thats what is needed to keep having trophy fish. Some people are greedy though and will learn the hard way one day

Lake was fished out over the winter, this was a trophy fishery but now the only fish in the lake were put there this spring by fish and game. Emerald lake does not magically reproduce, if you want to catch big fish than you have to leave fish in the water, not in your fridge.

Finally found this gem in the woods was so excited only to find it was froze over. Seen a couple of nice sizers just under ice though and spotted some fry also. Does this mean lake reproduction for this species? They were about two or three inches long.

Excellent fishing! Caught my limit of 5 trout in 3 hours. The lake was very calm for my pontoon boat.

Ice is off the lake. Fishing was poor today with only one bite. The guy on the pontoon boat had no luck either.
