Across lake from the boat ramp
by GUNDOG on Feb. 3, 2020
Landed 6 today on tip ups. Missed 8 more. Pike are looking decent and clean coming out of this lake. Couldn’t say that the last few years. Water was clear with minimal algae scourge. Lots of fresh water shrimp.

by soulfly on Feb. 19, 2018
What out today. Kinda slow, caught 5 by the cliffs. On another note if anyone is around there and finds a yellow and black firefly mitt, could you please message me here. Thanks. (We were the only tire tracks that went to where we were fishing) Thanks again.

Very soft under 12" of snow.

First time here. Boat launch is good. This lake is very shallow - never deeper than 10 feet. Found only pike and we're unsure if there are any other species here. We boated about a dozen fish while trolling and casting. Used spoons, Mepps Comets, minnows under a float; had luck with many. Fun day...

5 pike in about 4 hrs. Off docking area.

by thoffman on May. 11, 2017
Boat launch is nice and ready. Water level is great. Weeds aren't bad on North Side, none on South Side. On May 11, 2017 we caught 6 decent size Pike, had 6 follow hook to boat and at least 6 get get away. Amazing little lake.

Fished last weekend off the rock point. Not even a nibble. Threw cranks, spoons and quick strikes with smelt. Not even a nibble. Is this lake dead?

by Exp1 on Sep. 14, 2016
Anyone been out to clear lake lately to see how it has been with the algae alert earlier this yr?

by Exp1 on Sep. 12, 2016
Anyone have any info on this lake? Was going to take a trip there this weekend

by skunk'd on Aug. 9, 2016
update...looks like there was actually a blue green algae bloom advisory issues for this lake, most recently on July 22/16

by skunk'd on Aug. 9, 2016
Went out Aug 12, was shocked. Full of weeds, all over the lake, water was like soup. Couldn't troll at all. I've fished here many times and never saw the lake this bad. Avoid for now.

by Harlick1 on Aug. 1, 2016
Went a couple a days ago. Caught 3 ,lost 2 and a few bites. There for 5 hrs.was fishing at parking area.

by CrossTmay on Jun. 24, 2016
Am I correct to assume that the north end of the lake is the best place to fish ? I did the South end and not a single bite.

by Roch on Jun. 5, 2016
Boat launched is very good . Fishing extremely good , between three guys caught about 30 pike all 24 to 28 inches.

by skunk'd on May. 22, 2016
Got 8 pike today between 2:30 and 6 pm,trolling 5-9 feet of water. Most were about 24-26". Caught one monster that actually had another one in its mouth, but I lost it beside the boat. Water was shallow and weedy in many areas.

by David_g on May. 20, 2016
Fished here yesterday from 1700hr to 1900hr and landed 5 pike from the dock. All were in the 20"-35" range and caught using various sizes of croc by Gibbs spoons (blue seemed best). Water was extremely turbid, however weather was great when everywhere else was stormy. Boat launch was solid despite low water levels. Will be returning with the boat after the long weekend as it seemed to be getting quite busy there for my tastes.

Sounds like a fish story☺
by TeddyBear on May. 11, 2021
Can anyone tell me how high the water is and if the boat docks are in? Thx
