by Tmauthe on May. 17, 2020
Drove past yesterday checking out fishing spots, water level is really high and the creek to the east is flooded out pretty bad

Ice is still only 6 inches thick. (No vehicles) not a bite today. Same as last year! No luck

by albertfishescanada on Jul. 26, 2019
The only bad thing about this lake is the boaters on the weekend with bad etiquette blaring their music and creating huge wake near the people fishing. Ruins the experience for the other boaters trying to have a peaceful time in the outdoors

by albertfishescanada on Jul. 26, 2019
Lake produces pretty good along the outer line of the weeds surrounding the shore. Able to catch plenty of pike with spoons if you can get a boat out there and go up and down the lake hitting the weed lines.

by Jlarocque96 on Jul. 9, 2019
Last 3 visits I have caught 1 Pike. Not a keeper.

by I B Fishin on Jun. 15, 2019
I have to agree with pickrel pat I've never seen or heard about anyone catching perch. I just asked the same question about Battle lake. It says there is perch but I've never seen anyone catch any. What about Coal Lake I think there might be perch in it?
by stefaniuk_j on May. 22, 2019
Out the last few weekends, not worth the drive any more. The lake is getting to be a poor producer, and what you do catch is always undersize. It’s disappointing to see.

Made the hour and half drive up and it’s open water all around the lake can’t even get onto the hard ice even if it’s still thick enough

Thanks general practitioner always good to know lol Was there the other day caught 14 pike two keepers still no perch

by General Practitioner on Mar. 10, 2019
There are out houses behind the playground near the boat launch on the east side of the lake.

by Martz on Mar. 8, 2019
Did it snow much there today? Will I get stuck in my suv driving on the ice?

by fishing in canada on Feb. 23, 2019
Only been here once does anyone know if there’s washrooms close to the dock or is the closet camrose and does anyone catch perch on this lake or is it like every other lake out there

by redneckfishnalbertan on Feb. 6, 2019
They taste great if your concerned about the pinky flesh on them it's from all the shrimp in lake that they eat.

by AlbertaFish on Feb. 5, 2019
Did you keep them? If so how did they taste??
by redneckfishnalbertan on Jan. 31, 2019
Yeah we got 3 pike all keepers. Spent 7 hours on lake . The bite was slow caught all three in about 7 ft if water left of the pu lic beach boat ramp.

by AlbertaFish on Jan. 31, 2019

Does anybody know where to catch a perch on driedmeat, I’ve never caught one on this lake and wondering where a good spot would be
