I would like to know what the right approach is to voice your opion about the netting in such a small body of water. We have tried at the local sustainability meetings and the answer is " NEXT!"

Is there still a concern for the blue green algae?
by Jettis on Aug. 9, 2016
Fished the tournament in june and people were saying that like 30000 lbs of fish were netted in the winter so fishing was very slow for thw tournament. Guys still found them but it was tough. So im thinking this alow fishing might continue for a bit.
by Happy happy on Aug. 2, 2016
Been here for 2 days we've caught 6 pike, only one keeper. The survey gals on shore, said it was the first fish they have tested in 3 days. FWL officer also stopped by, said it was one of the biggest he had seen all summer. It was only 72cm. Other fish men were shocked when they seen me come to shore. Sounds like nothing is has been caught for a while. This is my first time here. Is it always slow?

Does anyone know if there is overflow on this lake right now?
by Hookline&sinker77 on Feb. 17, 2016
Desd mans point is easy to find. Drive strait off the boat launch at ferbies subdivision and head straight out. There is an island on your left and that is the first shoreline you'll see and just keep going. 99% chance there will be half a dozen or more people here already. You'll see the reeds to your right come to a point. To your left is a strait shoreline. Fish in the middle anywhere. Caught a 70cm pike on family say if you go close to he reeds yoh can catch perch
by knnku on Feb. 12, 2016

Pike and walleye on the cam yesterday at the narrows but a pretty slow day. 3 people fishing and one pike caught. 1115-415. Nothing on the cam the last 45 minutes and it was raining so didn't want to wait to see if it would pick up for the last hour because I had a long drive on icy roads. Haven't been out here since I was a kid, it was my grandparents trusted lake.
Anyone know of any good shore fishing spots for pike? preferably somewhere less public, i usually bring the dog out. I remember always catching a ton of perch in the bays, never really fished pike there.
I catch and release and clean up after myself!
