Catching one over 100cm is not very common, especially considering you can't use bait at this lake. Better off trolling in the summer.
by Albertafisherman on Feb. 6, 2017

How much snow is on the ice? Anyone managed any big walleye? I haven't had anything over 55cm in years.

Had success in the North Bay. Lots of ice. Huge ice heaves along the whole east length of the lake. Handful of walleye and a decent jack. Went back another day with no success. Will keep going back

Catters are all gone. The fish were picky. Caught a couple keepers and a few smally wallys. One 8lbs pike. The fish are lookin real skinny.
by TheRook on Jun. 6, 2016
Caterpillar/fly infestation. You can come to fish but you better not bring your wife. Caught a few wallys, no keepers, one nice 10+ lbs pike. We'll be back once the Caters are done turning into the mothman prophecies.

Turn north off highway 55 at the seibert lake sign. A few km down that road there's another sign directing you west. Its about 20 km through the bush on a logging road.

by Corsair on Sep. 9, 2012
Went out on saterday for about 8 hours and were skunked, used everything in the box and not even a bite
by Behr77 on Aug. 7, 2012
Last 22 km of fair weather road is pretty bad, one vehicle wide in many places, watch for oncoming traffic - not everyone seems to drive for the conditions. Boat launch has a nice approach but is long and shallow - don't be alarmed but your floor boards may get a bit wet. Found a decent walleye pocket - something every few casts - but only a few met the size limits. With a better idea of the lake I'll be going back to try and find a big jack. Oh, and perch came right to the boat but weren't interested in anything we could provide.

by Jeffbird95 on Jul. 11, 2011
Went July long weekend, new boat launch is awesome, but the fishing has gone downhill. Lots of tiny walleye and no monster jacks. #dissappointingcomparedtoother years
by Bobbyfoe on Jan. 3, 2011
Ice is good, but a bit of flood water on boxing day. Walleye were biting decent but the big pike were hard to find.
by Farmer on Dec. 15, 2010
Lake is safe to drive on. Went out with sleds and there was eleven inches of. Now if the fish were bitting...that is up to you to find out.
